Order and Pricing Information
SimaPro is available in three versions: Compact, Analyst and Developer. Temporary licenses are also available, as well as academic licenses. All licenses are available either as single user or multi user versions. The multi user version has the same features as the single user SimaPro versions, but is extended with extra features needed for sound database management in a multi user environment.
All indefinite licenses come with a free service contract for the first year. Service contracts for additional years can be purchased separately.

Order multiple years of service in advance and get a discount: 5% discount on a 2 year renewal, 10% on a 3 year renewal. |

Will run as a demo after expiration, so you will still be able to access and print your data, but you will no longer be able to edit it. |

Prices for SimaPro 7.1 educational versions
Educational versions may only be used by academic institutes for teaching purposes and cannot be used for commercial activities, including paid research. Educational licenses can be upgraded to a professional license.

The Faculty license is a single user version that can be installed on multiple computers of students and staff within your department. The Faculty license also includes the ecoinvent v2 database, including access code for the ecoinvent web site (www.ecoinvent.org). |

| Specific conditions for the free non-OECD SimaPro Faculty license: |
|
The SimaPro Faculty license is provided free of charge to educational institutions in non-OECD
countries only, upon sending a signed order form. Please email simapro@tgh.co.za to request an order form. |
|
Delivery is done electronically (via download/email). The user will make sure the registration code or ecoinvent access codes are not distributed outside his/her organisation. |
|
The software and database are only to be used for educational purposes. Use in paid research
projects, or in projects in OECD countries is not permitted. |
|
After 6 months the software will expire and run as a demo version. The software can be revived be requesting a new Faculty license. The ecoinvent access codes will be renewed after one year. |
|
Support is only given to the named contact person on the order form. |
|
PRé Consultants has the right to refuse a free license if there any suspicions of abuse, and can withdraw or change the offer for a free SimaPro Faculty license at any time. |
Upgrade and update policy
Upgrading to a different version is simple: you need only enter a new registration code. After upgrading you can still use the same database without any loss of data. Please email simapro@tgh.co.za with your upgrade request to obtain a quote. In most cases, you only pay the price difference.

Updating from a previous SimaPro version is also possible. If you have cancelled your SimaPro 6 service contract, you can buy a new SimaPro 7.1 license with a 25% discount. A conversion tool is available to convert your database to the new format without loss of data.
