The SimaPro 7.1 Family

SimaPro comes in 3 professional versions – Compact, Analyst and Developer, all of which are available in single user or multi user network versions. The network version is extended with extra features needed for sound database management in a multi user environment, and as such is ideal for team work. SimaPro also comes in 3 academic versions which offer a reduced price for educational use.

SimaPro Compact for quick results:

If ease of use is your main criterion, choose the Compact version. It is built for reliable results with limited effort. Powerful Wizards assist you in managing complex tasks, while all results remain completely transparent. The Compact version has all the functionality to perform a full LCA study. However, if you are looking for more specialised features, such as parameterised modelling or Monte Carlo analysis, the SimaPro 7.1 Analyst may be a better choice.

SimaPro Analyst for detailed LCA studies:

If advanced features, transparency and flexibility are your main criteria, choose the Analyst version. It is built for the LCA expert that wants to assess every detail of the LCA he/she is conducting. It comes with advanced analytical features including parameter based scenario analysis and Monte Carlo analysis. For those that want create their own Wizards, or want to link with other software tools, SimaPro 7.1 Developer is available.

SimaPro Developer to create dedicated LCA tools:

The Developer version will suit the specialist. It has the same features as the SimaPro Analyst but is extended with features allowing a user to create his/her own wizards and link with other software tools, including direct Excel/ASP linking, a COM interface and import/export options in EcoSpold format.
